PRODUCER AND PROJECT RATES? You're unique right? All projects are! Contact me with demo/brief bio/project details for a quote. WHAT'S INCLUDED IN PRODUCER AND PROJECT RATES? Preproduction, Co-Writing, Song Selection, Recording, Engineering (@ The Pawnshop Studio, Blind Science, and/or another studio we agree upon), Editing, Production, and Mixing. As you can see, there's a lot to take into consideration with any professional release! Most importantly what's included is peace of mind for the end result. If you like what you hear on my reel, great! That's the quality we're aiming for. Your recordings are your business card so you have to sound great! Best foot forward, all the time. If you're curious what it might be like working together, send one of the bands I've produced an e-mail. If you're still on the fence... come by the studio to chat! There's always a way to make something work. Vibe and chemistry are important though, this is a small industry built around relationships after all. *Note: Mastering is not included. I believe fresh ears are important and rates can vary depending on who we decide to go with. I highly recommend getting in contact with Peter Letros (www.wreckhousemastering.com) and Joao Carvalho (www.joaocarvahlomastering.com). They master most of my projects, have great ears, and competitively priced! |

GENERAL STUDIO RULES
Please use common sense. Treat the studio like my home... because in many ways it is considering the amount of time I spend here.
START TIME
When you have a session is booked, it is expected you will arrive on time. Calling/texting to say you're running late after the scheduled start time makes you look like a fool. Please be considerate, and consider without requesting a change to the session start time with at least 24 hours notice, our session start time will remain. The session start time doesn't begin when you finally show up... and definitely not after you return from telling me you're "just going to run out and grab something to eat", right after you show up. Studio time is billed rounding up in 1/2 hour increments.
STUDIO FILES & DOWNTIME
The Pawnshop Studio, Blind Science, nor myself are responsible for damages or costs/losses occurred due to lost or damaged files, time, and/or equipment. I do my best to keep project files on at least 2 hard drive locations (master/backup), sometimes the unforeseen happens though... well it's happened once in almost 10 years... still... it haunts me to this day. It's best to have an OSX compatible hard drive or laptop with you in order to back up your files as well. This is a general disclaimer, yes the odds are very low, so low it's almost barely worth bringing up... but $#@! happens.
GUESTS
It's normal to have friends and family want to drop by especially during longer projects. From my experience, when the number of people hanging out in the studio increases, the level of productivity goes down. This is great if you're working in a studio that mainly wants to fill time (easy money!), awful if you're a band/artist trying to save money. It's best to factor the time visitors will be by into the work day. Beginning of the day, during lunch, or within the last hour of the day work best.
***Majority of this applies to my former studio (The Pawnshop), but it should apply to any studio we/you work in.
